I would like to make my download button visible in some galleries and not in others. I have some clients who pay for each photo and some who are allowed to download as much as they want for free.
It seems like the only way to change the visibility of it is in Archive Page Settings, where I can choose for it to be globally on or globally off.
I use the Elements template.
I know that I can create gallery permissions and provide a download password to certain clients which lets them download, while not providing that to other clients. BUT, if the download button is visible and they do not have a download password, it still prompts them to enter the password. That would not be a big deal if they got a message saying that their password did not permit them to download for free and they should click "add to cart." Instead, when they enter the password they used to get into the gallery, it just resets and prompts them to enter a password to download. It seems like an error is happening and they should just keep trying.
QUESTION: Is there a way to make the download buIyou please change the pop-up text to say that their password does not allow downloads? I don't want them to get frustrated and give up. I want them to be prompted to add the photo to their cart.
