Directing the link from the image on my home/landing page to a specific gallery.

I would like to have someone viewing my website be taken to a specific gallery when they click on the image on my home/landing page. Specifically my "Portfolio" gallery. Right now it seems to randomly go to my "Corporate Portraits" Gallery. This wasn't happening before. Don't know what I've done or how to correct it. I have "re-set" the cover image but after clicking through the archive and other links on my site it goes back to linking to the wrong gallery. Any ideas?
