How do I apply download availability to an entire lightbox at once?

I see how to apply downloads to individual images but I want to do it to an entire lightbox with one action.

  ^^^ I would also like to know the answer to this question. My clients have been confused because they cannot download the whole lightbox at once.

  I'm also trying to work this out. If you can't download or send to cart all the photos in a lightbox, I can't see the point of having a lightbox.

  As you can see the original question was asked two and a half years ago. The simple answer is you can't. People have been requesting this for several years. In fairness it is difficult for PS to implement within the current structure because a Lightbox is tied to the account holder of the image buyer rather than the photographer and so in theory the account holder may have images in a lightbox from several different Photoshelter photographers with different download permissions in place. 

  The so called workaround is for your client to share the Lightbox with you and then for you to add them to a new gallery which you can then set for them to download in a batch (or use Quick Send). Hardly the quick and easy service our clients expect.

  I was told several years ago that re-designing the Lightbox was high on their list of priorities but as far as I can see Photoshelter development seems to have ground to a halt altogether at the moment. The only activity we get these days seems to be to do with social media initiatives and marketing guides.

  Has anyone in this thread tried Client Proofing? You can send the gallery to clients to review, pick their favourites etc, then use their picks to create a new gallery, which you can add download permissions to. The proofing tool looks a lot nicer than a lightbox (it's more like the Beam portfolio display) and lets you add filters so clients can pick just the portraits or landscape orientation images, or just those of, say, the bride and groom at a wedding shoot, etc.

  Yes, client proofing is a good option if you just have one shoot or gallery to send to a client.

  However it doesn’t help when a client wants to search within an archive of stock pictures or across several of their own galleries. On the face of it they assume using the lightbox is the obvious tool so they put together a selection and it all works well enough until they come to the download stage and then they email the photographer who has to apologise yet again that unfortunately no they can’t simply batch download their selection but have to use a workaround of one sort or another (as per my previous post).

  And yes, the proofing tool integrates better with the more recent Beam templates whilst the Lightbox was just abandoned and visually remains stuck firmly in the Classic era.
