Importing via Photogene (ftp)

I'm tinkering around with methods for importing files to PS via Photogene on iPad, the editing, IPTC and ftp app.

All seems well until the upload which fails, possibly because Photogene needs a destination folder and adding ftp.photoshelter.com/MyFolder in the Server box seems to be the issue.

Has anyone else tried this method - or via another app?
