client downloading without pay

As a street photographer.. I take pics ex: a band In the street performing.. I post the pics on social media.. as a 'kind' gesture I like to allow them the pics.. It's easy to create a gallery here HOWEVER.. I can send them the gallery to look and choose.. BUT I can't give them permission to download.. This is making me CRAZY and as my photography has grown in social media interest.. I'm going to have to ditch a website I have generously paid for that is USELESS

  Hi Lynn,

  It is possible to allow downloads for your gallery, but you will need to add a password first. Have a look at the video tutorial here for information on how to do this:
