Reassign a URL to an image
Hi, I accidentally 'moved' rather than 'copy' an image to a different gallery. I would like, if possible' to reassign that images to it's original location and hopefully keep the view stats for that image. Is this possible? Shaun

Hi Shaun
The view stats for a given image won't be reset when it's moved between galleries, so you can simply copy it back to the original gallery and they should be retained. Note that the view stats once the image is in two galleries will include views from both galleries combined.

Thanks, It was suggested that moving the image back to the gallery would relink the URL with a tweet I had sent earlier that day. All I get when clicking the link from Twitter to my PS location is 'We couldn't find the web page you requested!' 'Sorry, You've come across a page that doesn't exist' Is it possible to assign my image back to that link. Ive copied here from Twitter

Hi Shaun,
If you compare these two links on my own site (the same image in two separate galleries):
http://nickminers.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/G00001lwfI3TdSLk/I0000pU1H1RUZSis
http://nickminers.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/G0000egCgcSCFEek/I0000pU1H1RUZSis
Note that the part after the last slash is the same in both cases. These are links to two separate instances of the same image in different galleries, and the code 'I0000pU1H1RUZSis' refers to the image. Based on this I'm pretty sure that if you reassigned the same image to the old gallery the link in your tweet would work again. There's no harm in trying, and if it doesn't work then you could try contacting Photoshelter to see if they can help (support@photoshelter.com).
