Lightroom Synchronization Issues

I've been having some major issues with publishing from Lightroom lately. After synchronizing the entire library and then trying to publish new photos I keep being told I need to resync the library before uploading. The short of it is that I'm not able to upload anything through Lightroom and starting to get concerned that various collections being uploaded are getting lost. Is anyone else having issues with this and know of a fix? I've asked support about it and heard nothing.
