Low res downloads
How do I download a batch of low res images with metadata for my own use? I want to set the size at 500 pixels and download a gallery of 70 images. This is easier than downloading larger files and resizing in Photoshop.
Thanks

Hi Ian
When you download images as yourself, as you've probably already found out, you can only choose from 600, 1200, 2400, 4800 and maximum image size. However it's possible to set a custom size for image downloads, but this requires logging in as a third party. If you have an alternate email address to the one you use to log in to PhotoShelter, sign up for an account with that one, then give permissions on your gallery for that email address to download images at 500px (choose 'JPEG - custom size' from the 'DL Type' menu in the 'Visibility and Access' dialog) and you can then repeat for any future galleries you may want to download in a similar manner.

You need to view the gallery in Archive view, so when you're looking at it in http://www.photoshelter.com/mem/images, click the link in the top right corner, below the gallery name. From there click the 'Download' link and you can select all images and the download resolution in the next screens.

Archive view is just one way of viewing your gallery. Have you clicked on the link I mentioned, below the gallery name? This will open a new window which will display the gallery in a grid, with a download link visible. If you're using a Classic template the link will say "Batch download" but if you're using Beam it just says "Download"

Actually let's go back to your response above, as you clearly have already been to the screen you need. When you asked "If I select 'all' how do I get to select the size that I want" I should have just said click continue and you can select the image size on the next screen. Sorry for the confusion.

OK I understand a bit more now. You need to download the images as though you were a client, so that means accessing the gallery through your site, not the back end. If you navigate to the gallery from your home page, you should then see the 'Batch Download' link which will allow you to choose the size after you have picked your images. It should look something like this: http://nickminers.com/download_step1.png
Click on Batch Download and you will then see a grid like this:

Click on 'Select All' then continue and you get this screen:

The menu will let you choose the 600px option.
