Pasting Plain Text into Custom Page on Site Builder

How can I paste plain text (out of word or InDesign) into a Beam custom page in site builder? (MS Windows). I am good with formatting in Beam but I can't seem to figure out how to paste.... lol

  Doesn't ctrl+V work on your keyboard? Or Edit > Paste from the menu?
