Client registration and privacy policy

Hi,
Does anyone know if clients who register for a PhotoShelter account (in order to access private galleries) will start getting marketing emails from PhotoShelter? The T&C / privacy policy indicates they may send emails or SMS text messages regarding their services, but that applies to anyone who creates an account, so it's not clear if PhotoShelter treats their clients (i.e. photographers) different from our clients in this respect.

I would hate to ask my clients to sign up for an account and find out they started getting emails from PhotoShelter as a result.
