  The Element template picks a random image from the cover images in all of your featured galleries (i.e. the ones listed at the top of your navigation panel). If you only have one gallery listed it will always use the same image.

  To pick a cover image for a given gallery that doesn't already have one, view the gallery in photoshelter.com/mem/images and drag the thumbnail for the image in question into the box in the top right of the screen (if empty it will say 'Drag here to set cover image').
