    Hi Ralf

Even with maximum resolution images uploaded to your site, you can still control the image sizes available to clients. It would be easier to keep the Lightroom plugin unchanged, and when you grant access to individual galleries, you can set the maximum download size for each gallery.

    Ok, thanks.
So you recommend syncing in 100% JPEG quality without resizing? That makes large upload file sizes.
What about images for my website? Won't that lead to very slow loading times for viewers???

Yes, the upload sizes are large, but that's only a short term issue. As for images served by people who visit your site, PhotoShelter creates resized copies of the high resolution images based on the displays your site visitors are using, up to the Maximum Image Display Size you specify on http://www.photoshelter.com/mem/site/security.
