Using the Desktop Uploader
1. Open the PhotoShelter Uploader on your desktop and sign in with your PhotoShelter credentials:
2. If you have 2FA enabled on your account, enter the 2FA challenge code generated by your authenticator app, then click Verify:
3. After logging in, you can click on the Library for your PhotoShelter for Photographers account (and you can access any Brands Library you have access to as well - if applicable):
Expand your Listed and Unlisted on Website tabs in the left pane of the Uploader. You can upload files directly here and manage your Library. Note the new icons next to each container that correspond to that container's Visibility and Access permissions.
We've made the UI easier to navigate so that you can quickly create a new container or choose an existing container to upload into. Keep in mind that files can only be uploaded to Galleries, not Collections.
4. Create a new Gallery/Collection in either the Listed or Unlisted tab using the + icon in the left pane (with the option to Inherit Permissions above), or upload to an existing Gallery by selecting the Gallery from either the Listed or Unlisted tab. You won't be able to proceed with an upload unless a Gallery is selected.
If you create a new container to upload into, you can adjust the Location of the Gallery or Collection by entering an existing Collection into the Location field. Otherwise, the new container will be created at the root level.
5. Select files for upload. You can drag-and-drop files from your computer to the upload target, or click browse files to open a Finder window.
6. Your upload will begin automatically. While the upload completes, you can expand the upload queue and pause or resume files as needed.
Settings
In the Settings menu, you can choose how to handle loose files (files located at the same level as folders) during your upload. You can also enable auto-updates, which automatically updates the app when our team releases a new version.

FAQ
Is 2FA required to log in to the new Desktop Uploader?
Yes. 2FA is a requirement for all PhotoShelter for Photographers accounts. You'll be prompted to enter the 2FA challenge code generated by the authenticator app on your mobile device after entering your PhotoShelter credentials. If you need help with 2FA, see here.
Which file types are supported for upload?
PhotoShelter for Photographers accounts only support image files at this time. For a full list of our supported filetypes, see here.
Can I adjust Visibility and Access permissions from the new Desktop Uploader?
No, you'll still need to use a browser to do any fine-tuning to your files, galleries and collections in the Image Browser. If you're on-the-go, we recommend downloading FileFlow for iOS or Android to adjust permissions and deliver content to your clients.
