In the new Lumen library interface for Photographers, you can expect the following features that don't currently exist or have changed from the Classic interface. Please keep in mind, some features from the Classic interface are still in progress to be added to the Lumen library.
- Mortar view: View your thumbnails, galleries, and collections in a more visually appealing way (perfect for showcasing new imagery).
- Uploading improvements: Uploads will continue in the background while you work and you can upload to multiple galleries at the same time.
- More responsive and customizable interface: Your left and right panes can now be resized or totally hidden to maximize your view of the center pane.
- Visibility and download settings: Your left pane now includes visual indicators of visibility and access.
- Batch metadata editing: Find these settings in the right pane now, complete with the ability to custom sort the field order in the library (this will not update the website sort of these fields).
- “Rich Preview” support has been added for multi-page PDFs (so you can flip through each page in the library).
- Renaming files will retain the original file extension to prevent download issues.
- Quick Send is now called “Share Download Link” for sharing individual files as a quick download.
- Search filters have been added to the library for galleries, collections, and files
- You can now filter for files that are in the trash only.
- Settings for defaults: You can set the default Library File Sorting, Collection Sorting, Thumbnail type, and more.
- Copy Link: In the right pane, you can with one click copy the URL to the item you have selected in the left or center pane.
