With PhotoShelter, you can embed high-quality static images and even slideshows of your galleries anywhere on the web—your blog, your personal website, etc. (You must, of course, have access to the HTML wherever it is you wish to place your slideshow in order to actually embed the code we provide.)
Our New Library UI currently only supports Embeds for Image assets. To embed a slideshow, use your Classic Library (the Image Browser) and follow the steps: Building and Embedding a Slideshow
Building and Embedding a Slideshow
1. From the Left Pane of your Image Browser, select the gallery for which you would like to grab slideshow code.
Note: You must choose a gallery whose visibility is set to "Everyone" (i.e. Who can see this? Everyone).
2. With the appropriate gallery selected, look to the Right Pane and click the share menu > "Embed as slideshow."
3. This will trigger a pop-up window in which you can set your slideshow presets:
Popup and ad blockers may interfere with the display of the share button illustrated above, so be sure to disable any ad blockers prior to attempting to embed a slideshow.
4. Copy the "Embed Code" and paste it into the code on your site and you should be all set!
Note: This code is intended for embedding slideshows on external websites, not PhotoShelter websites.
Embedding High-Quality Images from Your Library
1. Access your Library by clicking here: https://library.photoshelter.com/library
2. Select any image from your Library.
3. In the right-hand "Image Info" pane, click "Embed Code" > "Get Embed Code"
4. After generating the embed code, you can copy + paste the code anywhere outside of PhotoShelter! Additionally, you can toggle the embed off*/on should you need to:
* If you have previously visited a site where a PhotoShelter photo was embedded, you will temporarily still be able to see the photo even if embeds are disabled using the above toggle (due to the users' browser cache + cookies, which will clear automatically after a time). For all other users, the embedded photo will disappear appropriately.
